Welcome to The Good Farm!
We are Harry & Petra, a couple who believes that life is celebrated through a lifestyle that is connected to nature. But above all, to regenerate land and leave it better than we found it! We live with our dog Coco, our cats Pepper and Limao and our 6 chickens and 1 rooster.
In March 2025 we bought 6 hectares of land in the South-West Algarve, 10 minutes south of Aljezur. We renovated two (60m2) beautiful farmhouses where you can enjoy some time with us and enjoy our beautiful land.
We have a veggie garden, a natural swimming pond and direct access to hiking trails. Our farm is easy accessible by car.
June - October: We are available for short term bookings.
November - May: Stay with us for a long term stay.

The Big Farmhouse
This is the house we live ourselves. With the interior design so beauitful you don’t want to leave! It can only be rented in August since we obviously, love it too much ourselves.
Farm Activities
The Farm offers so much that we love to share with you! From farm to table dinners on Wednesdays to cooking workshops, or a massage so you can fully relax.

What to do in the area?
Best surf beaches around
Praia da Arrifana — one of the most iconic surf beaches in the Algarve. Its bay and cliffs offer waves almost year-round for beginners and more advanced surfers alike.
Vale Figueiras Beach — a wild, more secluded beach, often less crowded and perfect if you want more space and solitude.
Monte Clérigo & Praia da Amoreira — also within reach; good alternatives depending on swell and mood.
Mountainbike tours
You can enjoy guided or self-guided mountain-bike tours through the lush forests and hills of Serra de Monchique, with trails varying from gentle forest paths to more challenging descents.
For example, there are routes starting at Foia, circling waterfalls or descending toward lower slopes — great for a half-day or full-day adventure.
Natural park
The coast around Arrifana / Aljezur is part of the protected Costa Vicentina Natural Park — ideal for coastal walks and hikes on cliff-top trails, with spectacular views over sea and cliffs.
For mountain hiking, the nearby hills of the Serra de Monchique offer great walking and biking routes, like the trail from the peak Foia (the highest point in the Algarve, 902 m) down through forested hills and valleys.
Horseback-riding
You can book horseback-riding or gentle horse-trekking tours just ~10 minutes from our place (near Aljezur / Vale da Telha), with rides along the coast, dunes, or inland countryside.
For a memorable experience, sunset or sunrise tours on beach or dune tracks in nearby Carrapateira or Bordeira are especially magical.

November - May (long term stays)
In the winter months we love to share our place with people who also love an outdoor life and enjoy our farmhouses. Best suitable for a couple or single. Dogs allowed. It’s not kids proof. We rent out per month, starting on the first of the month.
June - October (short term stays)
In the summer months our farm turns into a holiday destination. Perfect for little families, couples, singles or friends who have a love for nature, sustainability and are looking for a unique place to stay.
